About Us

The Dallas Chapter of the American Valuation Society is the founding chapter of AVS and serves as a model for bringing the valuation ecosystem together at the local level.

Based in North Texas, the Dallas Chapter creates opportunities for appraisers, lenders, real estate agents, title professionals, technology providers, and other industry leaders to connect, learn, and collaborate. The chapter hosts informal coffee meetups, networking mixers, lunch and learns, and educational conversations designed to build stronger relationships across the real estate, mortgage, and valuation professions.

A key focus of the Dallas Chapter is outreach. We work to bring valuation professionals into conversations with brokerages, lenders, and real estate organizations so they can share their expertise, explain market behavior, and support better understanding of credible valuation practice. The chapter also creates space for lenders, brokers, appraisers, and other professionals to participate in panel discussions on market trends, industry changes, interest-rate movement, valuation risk, and the evolving needs of the housing market.

Through education, networking, and cross-industry collaboration, the Dallas Chapter advances AVS’s mission of creating one table for everyone who touches valuation.
